Why PC and console dates can look different
The PC standard release was 24 September 2026 at 23:00 UTC. Console standard release was 25 September at midnight in the consumer’s local time, according to EA’s purchase terms. One is a single worldwide instant; the other is a local clock rule.
Our converter changes only the fixed UTC milestones. A Japanese reader will therefore see a different PC calendar time from a US reader. We do not convert console-local midnight as though it were one universal UTC timestamp.
EA Play trial is not the same as owning the full game
The Steam listing advertises an EA Play trial of up to 10 hours. Check your subscription, platform and current store terms. A time-limited subscription trial should not be confused with a permanent full-game licence.
What about EA FC 28?
We have not verified an official FC 28 release date in the sources used for this guide. A yearly pattern is not an announcement. This page will not turn an estimate into a countdown or present a guessed date as confirmed.
What matters after launch
For a purchase decision, current price and platform support are now more useful than a pre-launch countdown. Go to the edition comparison, then check whether your preferred mode is supported on your console generation.

PC early access began on 17 September 2026 at 23:00 UTC, with console-local midnight on 18 September. These dates have passed.
When did the Web App launch?
EA Help lists 16 September 2026 for the Web App and 17 September for the Companion App. We have not verified an exact Web App launch hour.
